The Story Behind The Art

Billions of years from now the Sun will embark on a majestic journey, unfolding its destiny before our eyes.

As the Sun exhausts its nuclear fuel, a celestial alchemy takes place. Slowly, the Sun swells, morphing into a red giant. Its outer layers expand, stretching far beyond their previous boundaries. But the Sun's performance is not yet complete.

In its final act, it sheds its magnificent outer layers, casting off a splendid display of cosmic fireworks. The remnants disperse into the void and a small, radiant core emerges - the white dwarf.

A relic of the Sun's former glory, this dense stellar remnant glimmers in the vastness of space, its once-mighty presence reduced to a faint, cooling glow. The Sun's epic journey comes to an end, leaving behind a testament to the cycles of life.

An original, signed A5 Certificate of Authenticity, which details the story behind the art, is provided with each print.

Shipping and Handling

We offer Free Shipping Australia Wide. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our shipping and handling details below:

Prints and Frames:

Our prints and frames are meticulously crafted and made to order by our trusted fulfilment partner in South Brisbane. The manufacturing times may vary depending on the type of product:

  • Unframed Paper: Please allow 5-15 business days for manufacturing before your order is ready to be shipped.
  • Unframed Canvas, Framed Canvas, and Framed Paper (all handmade): These pieces require more time and care to produce. Expect a manufacturing time of 15-20 business days before your order is shipped.

Rest assured that once your order is prepared for shipment, we will promptly provide you with tracking information via email and text, so you can keep an eye on its progress.

We kindly ask for your understanding during busy periods such as holidays or sales, as processing times may be slightly longer. As a small business, we and our partners are dedicated to delivering your order as quickly as possible. Your patience and support are greatly appreciated.

Materials

All our prints are meticulously produced using the giclée fine art grade printing method. They are available on either textured cotton rag (paper) or poly-cotton canvas, ensuring exceptional quality. We exclusively use the finest HDX archival inks, which are guaranteed to maintain their vibrancy and longevity for over 100 years.

For Cotton rag prints in sizes up to A3, there is a 10mm white border on each face. Prints in A2 size and above feature a 25mm white border. Please note that the size listed includes the overall dimensions, including the border.

Our Canvas prints are expertly stretched, making them ready to be framed. Alternatively, they can be stretched over an internal stretching frame and come with a fitted wire at the back. This allows you to easily remove the print from the packaging and hang it on your wall, hassle-free.

To further enhance the aesthetic appeal, external decorative frames can be added to both cotton rag prints and canvas prints, providing additional elegance and sophistication to your chosen artwork.

Dimensions and Framing Information

Canvas Framing

To enhance your canvas artwork, we offer locally sourced canvas float frames from FSC-certified suppliers. These frames are available in a range of finishes to suit your preferences. With a 10mm width on the face and a depth of 55mm, they are designed to provide an elegant and modern touch. Our skilled craftsmen expertly fit the frames with a 5mm space between the canvas and the frame, creating a shadow line that adds depth and dimension to the presentation of your artwork.

Cotton Rag Framing

For a traditional and timeless appeal, our classic framing option includes a mount board that surrounds the artwork. You have the choice of two mount board options: cool white or warm white, allowing you to select the one that best complements your piece.

To further enhance the presentation, we use a 2cm wide and 4cm deep box frame. This frame is available in a carefully curated range of finishes, ensuring a selection of options that will beautifully complement your artwork.

With our cotton rag framing, we pay meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring that your artwork is elegantly showcased and protected. The combination of the mount board and the box frame adds depth and dimension to the overall display, creating a visually pleasing presentation that captures the essence of a classic aesthetic.
